The Champions League just held the draw for the Playoffs, the new format of the Champions League. Now to be honest, I am not a fan of the new format, but it has some intriguing upcoming games. The two-legged games will be held on February 02 & 03, 2025 for the first leg and the second leg will be held February 18 & 19, 2025.
The teams that are involved in the playoffs were drawn into some great games. I am looking forward to the 8 upcoming games. The 16 sides involved have learned their opponents in the inaugural knockout phase play-offs.
My favorite team, FC Bayern Munich (Germany) got lucky with the draw and got Celtic Glasgow (Scotland) in the playoff. We could have drawn against Manchester City (England), but they got Real Madrid instead.
